Just in:  Daniel just emailed me with great news:  Just wanted to let you know that I'll be presenting at the Daytime Emmy's broadcast live from the Kodak Theatre on June 15th on CBS. - D

4 June 2007  I've been away on vacation to visit the folks. Kathy found out that Immortally Yours is now called Kiss of the Vampire.  There's a You Tube trailer to view....very cool! Thank Kathy!  Check out Kathy's scrapbook site dedicated to Daniel.

21 November 2006   Daniel says, "It's official. I tested yesterday for a Contract Role on Young and the Restless."  He also will be in "The Perfect Sleep," another Indie film where he plays another Russian.

20 Feb 2006   Ford Martin Goddard arrived on February 6th at 9:34am at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 20.5 inches long!  Congrats to Mommy and Daddy!

1 Feb 2006  Daniel emailed me today to let me know some great news.  He and Rachael are going to be proud parents by the end of February.  He said it's a boy!!!  Congrats and blessings to Rachael, Daniel and son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11 Jan 2006   CORRECTION:  Daniel emailed me today to make a correction about "Emily's Reasons Why Not" show that was supposed to air January 16th at 9:00 pm EST.  Seems the producers didn't like the original script, so it was tossed aside and recast.  The episode about the "twins" does not have Daniel in it. Sorry about the misunderstanding.  I'm disappointed too.

18 Nov 2005   Marjean Holden emailed me.  She's going to be having auctions n EBAY on Saturday the 19th at 11:00am PST. It is listed under the category collectibles...sci fi...and if you do a search under BeastMaster it should show up too! This is just the first go around with Original cast episode screeners and scripts...with a picture package thrown in!  She'll have more stuff after the 1st of the year.

8 Nov 2005   Bond news: CBn has posted its insider's list of who was in the running to play 007, the role eventually won by Daniel Craig.  According to CBn, some of those seriously considered included Gerard Butler (Timeline), Daniel Goddard (Beastmaster), Martin Henderson (The Ring), Ingo Rademacher (TV's General Hospital), Christian Solimeno (Footballers' Wives), Antony Starr (Without a Paddle) and Rupert Friend (Pride & Prejudice).  Several of them auditioned and impressed the powers-that-be but were ultimately disqualified for a host of reasons.  I don't know about you, but that news has me shaken and stirred!

6 Nov 2005  EXCITING NEWS:  Daniel sent me  several pictures of his new role as Python in the movie, Lightspeed, which he just finished filming.

Connery Headlines LightSpeed  (From Sci Fi Wire)

Jason Connery will play the lead in Stan Lee's LightSpeed, an original TV film for the SCI FI Channel, the network announced. LightSpeed is based on a new character created by comics legend Lee and is directed by Don Fauntleroy. Jeff Franklin is executive producer. The film also stars Lee Majors, Nicole Eggert and Daniel Goddard. Production has just wrapped in Utah.

Connery, the son of Sean Connery, plays Daniel Leight, a government agent who discovers that he has the super power to run at the speed of light after his legs are crushed in a building collapse and he is exposed to a near-lethal dose of radiation. Leight pursues his nemesis, Python, with the moniker LightSpeed. No air date was announced for LightSpeed.

4 Sep 2005  Daniel will soon be filming in a movie with Jason Connery, Lee Majors and Nicole Eggert. His character will be the bad guy (a real ZAD character) and Daniel is very excited about the role.  Click on Filmography for more info.

25 Mar 2004:  Technical difficulties are over. I found news online regarding "Dream Warrior" at US Direct DVD, which claims a June 1st release date.  Check out the link at "Shop" for Daniel.

13 Feb 2004:  DGcom was having technical difficulties, so updates have been impossible.  Added a gallery for the Monk episode.

11 Jan 2004:  DGcom wishes everyone a happy New Year.  It was wonderful to see Daniel guest star in Wild Card's episode "Auntie Venom."  Hope everyone got to see it.  His appearance in Monk is scheduled as below for EST, so check your local listings!!

21 Dec 2003:  Big news (Make sure you read this): Heard from Daniel upon his return to the States after visiting his family for the Holidays.  Make sure you read his New Year message and please respond using the form provided.  Your inputs will be posted.  Also, the Wild Card (Lifetime Channel) episode that Daniel is in is airing on Jan 3rd, 2004. It's called "Auntie Venom,"  The Monk (USA Network) is called "Mr. Monk and the Captain's Wife" and is scheduled for early February.

31 Aug 2003:  Daniel changed managers, so there's a new address to contact him with.

28 Aug 2003:  Comingsoon.net added Dream Warrior to their Film Database.  Release date is still:  TBA (to be announced)  UltimateDVD.org has added the movie to their list as well.  Lightsoutentertainment.com also added it to their movie vault.  This is a great sign!!!

17 Aug 2003: Read a short interview with Daniel at the Comic Con.  It's at the bottom of the page.  Also, added more shopping goods for Daniel.

3 Aug 2003: Daniel's appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con International was memorable for many DGFC members!  Check it out!

15 Jul 2003: Daniel is interviewed by Playgirl Magazine, found in the August 2003 issue.  Don't have a heart attack yet... he didn't pose!  It appears the interview was taken back in 2001, the end of filming the 2nd season.  It's a great interview.

12 Jul 2003:

ADV Films has news on the release date of Season 1 BeastMaster DVD.   August 26!  Two days before Daniel's birthday.

5 Jul 2003: Update:  Daniel Goddard will be at the International Comic Con in San Diego on July 20, 2003 promoting the release of BeastMaster on DVDs from 11am - 2pm.  For more info on the convention, click on the graphic to the left.  I'm checking with him about the 19th as previously mentioned.

20 Jun 2003: Bulletin:  Daniel Goddard will be at the International Comic Con in San Diego on July 19, 2003 signing autographs and promoting the release of BeastMaster on DVDs.  The autograph room is open 11am - 7pm Thursday thru Saturday, and 11am - 5pm on Sunday.  For more info on the convention, click on the graphic to the left.

24  Apr 2003: Added new fan artwork... but it's not a drawing, it's a creative musical excerpt from the BeastMaster theme on classical guitar by Kat.

22  Apr 2003:  Added stills from the Dream Warrior trailer.  Also, Arclight Films moved Dream Warrior to the *Completed* category!  As soon as I hear anything, I'll post the info!

ADV Films, which consistently tops all other American companies in the number of anime releases, announced the acquisition of video rights to the live action TV series BeastMaster. Expanding from its base in anime, ADV has acquired the rights to a number of live action science fiction/action adventure TV series including Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, the late lamented Farscape, and most recently the Tribune Entertainment's Marvel-based Mutant X series. 

Tribune Entertainment also produces BeastMaster, an eco-fantasy saga, which is filmed in exotic locations in Queensland, Australia.  With a hero who can communicate with animals and is often pitted against the forces of dark magic, BeastMaster has an ecological theme (the preservation of the forests) that is reminiscent of the underlying message of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy.   ADV plans to appeal BeastMaster fans with a series of DVDs that will include extensive extras such as commentary tracks from stars and staff, outtakes, and bloopers.  Although ADV has not set a release date, ADV CEO John Ledford indicated that the first BeastMaster DVD would be out in 2003.
