Daniel's New Year Message ~2003~

"It is hard to believe, but we have reached the end of another year. For me it has been a year of change and reconciliation.  And on the verge of the New Year, I look back upon 1999-2003 with many fond memories...

"BeastMaster came to an end. I returned home to LA and then went off to Croatia to shoot my first movie. Then came back to LA and shattered my left elbow. I have never had a major debilitating injury before and in my down time I began to look introspectively into my life and the lives of those around me. I spent many hours reading the guestbook and discussion boards not to mention message boards in the fan club. It is there that I began to discover more about myself than I ever thought possible. I began to truly understand how deeply BeastMaster and Dar have inspired so many people and how important the messages contained within the show have been.  I was marveled by the friendships that have developed as well as the open hearted conversations that have begun to take place. I was saddened to read about some illnesses that for too long now have plagued some of the members and faithful viewers... only to be overcome with joy from reading the support given to them and the love shared with them by their fellow message board and fan club friends.

“So... on the verge of a New Year I would like to return the thanks that has been so graciously shown to me over the past years by saying that ‘It is all of you who have inspired me in my time of need. Every time I see you write to one another, every time I see a new friendship develop, every time I hear of an adversity faced and overcome with courage and conviction, I thank God for giving me the chance to bring so much happiness into the lives of so many people.’

“There are so many people to thank, but Laurie Allen deserves the greatest of respect and admiration for all of her time and effort. For without her there would be no Fan Club or Website for that matter. She is the gatekeeper of a world that began as a mythical realm and developed into a place of reality.

“As we all move forward into a New Year, let us reflect upon the past year and take from it the inspiration to live the next one to the fullest in every way. May each and every one of you have a wonderful, safe and healthy 2003.  I look forward to hearing more stories on the Message board and seeing more friendships develop as each and every one of us moves closer to fulfilling our heartfelt desires as well as our deepest hopes and dreams.
